The origins of the property date back to the mid-18th century, when the farmhouse was built to accommodate the families who worked the surrounding agricultural land.

The area on which it stands holds much older traces: these hills once belonged to the Etruscan territory of Volterra and, from the 1700s, to the Barons of Casaglia. In the woodland of the property, in 1932, a tomb belonging to an important Etruscan family was discovered, now preserved in the archaeological museum of Cecina.

The estate includes several buildings for a total surface area of approximately 1,000 sqm.

The main farmhouse retains the authentic character of Tuscan rural homes: on the ground floor there is a traditional kitchen, a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings — also ideal for receptions and events — and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

On the upper floor there are two independent apartments: the first consisting of a kitchen, living room and one bedroom, the second with kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. Adjacent to the main building there are also two structures housing three independent studio apartments.

The setting is surrounded by over 86 hectares of land, partly used as an olive grove for approximately 4.5 hectares and partly arable land, with crops of durum wheat and oats for about 60 hectares.

A beautifully maintained garden hosts the 14 x 7 meter infinity pool with solarium area and an exceptional view over the Tuscan countryside.
